I Bury the Living (1958), (Not Rated), 76 mins
Plot: "A newly appointed cemetery chairman discovers that, merely by inserting a black pin into a wall-sized map of the cemetery, he can cause the deaths of that plot's owner." - Written by Marty McKee on IMDB.com
Review: "A man (Richard Boone) has to take over as chairman of the Immortal Hills Cemetery. Shortly after, the man discovers he has the power to kill [by] sticking black pins in an old cemetery grounds map. Later on, after the man has convinced himself as well as those around him that he's not crazy, he decides to undo what he's done and pull the [black] pins out and replace them with white pins... this has always been one of my favorite spook flicks. Creepy... with a great twist ending. If you like older black and white spook[y] movies, you will not be disappointed. I have seen this flick no less than 10 times and will no doubt watch it again... unless someone sticks a black pin in my plot." - Written by moycon on IMDB.com

"Moments. Petty moments. Significant moments. Ephemeral moments. The eternal moment…the moment in which the fifth business to a dark tragedy becomes the hero of his own grand tale. This is this moment. This is your moment, Vorenus. Arise! The Darkness beckons you!” --The Darkness
"Love was cruel to him. The world had shunned him. He only found warmth in despair and misery. Yet the gods lurking within the Darkness weave a tale of their own for this victim of love. Rebirth is on the horizon. Life may yet continue under the smiling face of the darkness. Yet it'll demand a price…" A Visual Poem by Steven Cerritos (from http://www.myspace.com/indarknessthefilm)

He seems to know more about her than she does, tracking her, quickly deducing that she is headed home, to the place where she used to live - more than a hundred years ago. Is Laura reincarnated? Resurrected and risen from the grave? Or is she just the unfortunate victim of a horrible crime, buried in the mud and left for dead? Is Julian really trying to help her, as he claims, or is he part of a conspiracy, a plot to kill her?
