CONCERTS

The Beach Theatre has a large movie screen, Dolby Digital Surround Sound and a big stage, so we can bring you concerts on screen AND on stage!

- On Screen: These concerts are previously recorded music concerts from some of the biggest and best performers of our time. Some have never been released and others haven't been seen in years. Nothing compares to seeing these concerts in a movie theatre; no distractions, hot and buttery popcorn and the screen fills your entire field of vision as you watch the High Definition (HD), Dolby Digital Surround Sound concert!* (*assuming HD and Dolby are available for that concert).

- Live Concerts: We have a large stage that performers use for live shows. We've hosted big events like "Birdstock" that had many different singers and bands perform back to back. The live cast that performs "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" (1975) here on Saturday nights performs their show on our stage, as well.

Sun, Oct 9th from 1pm until 6pm; $7 tickets!

Please join us on Sunday, October 9th, 2011, from 1pm until 6pm for "And the Bands Played On," a fundraiser for the Autism Speaks! Tickets are just $7! There will be LIVE MUSIC on our Beach Theatre stage, hosted by Marvelous Marvin. Come on out, see some awesome performers and support a good cause!!

Proceeds from this event will go to "Autism Speaks" (AutismSpeaks.org). Local chapter: Wendy's Warriors (WendysWarriors.org)

BIRDSTOCK II FUNDRAISER EVENT

At 8 venues on Corey Avenue in St. Pete Beach, FL

On Saturday, April 23rd, 2011, from noon until midnight, please join us for "Birdstock II," a fundraiser for the The Friends of the Tampa Bay National Wildlife Refuges! There will be LIVE MUSIC on EIGHT stages on and around the Corey Avenue area of St. Pete Beach, FL! A $10 wristband will get you in to see all of the performances at the Beach Theatre AND get you free stuff and/or discounts at participating Corey Avenue merchants! All of the live bands/acts are donating their time for this event. Come on out, see some awesome performers and support a good cause!!

THE CHARITY:
Proceeds from this event will go to "The Friends of the Tampa Bay National Wildlife Refuges" (TampaBayRefuges.org) where volunteers help to restore and maintain local natural habitats for wildlife. From their website: "In Tampa Bay, we are fortunate to have three National Wildlife Refuges: Egmont Key, Passage Key, and the Pinellas Refuges. The Refuges’ natural areas provide prime habitat for migratory and beach nesting birds to safely 'nest and rest' free from human interference. At Egmont Key, increasing numbers of sea turtles also find suitable and secure habitat for laying their eggs each breeding season, and a large and growing population of gopher tortoises safely move about the island, constructing burrows that protect them and many other species during severe storms. The pre-show party is at The Wine Shop, at 401 Corey Avenue. The after-party is at The Swigwam, at 336 Corey Avenue. Both places are within walking distance of our theatre, so you don't have to worry about reparking or driving after having some wine and/or beer (we have 30 different kinds, by the way).
